data destruction company who collect waste and out dated
computer equipment from all over the U.K. and recycle it in the
most secure and environmentally friendly manner possible
ensuring nothing goes to landfill and all data is 100%
destroyed.

and data destruction.
We will never export waste electrical
equipment to developing countries such as Pakistan, India or
African countries where it can not be traced and no legislation
exists to monitor how it is recycled.

WHAT HAPPENS
WHEN I BOOK MY FREE COLLECTION? If you qualify
for our free service we will arrange a suitable time and
date for one of our fully trained and uniformed engineers to
arrive and take away your equipment.
Our engineer will do all the loading for you and issue you
with a hazardous waste transfer note and a copy of our
Environment Agency licence as well as our contract to you
under the Data Destruction Act, this contract is a legal
requirement if you use a third party to destroy data (in
this case Free Computer disposals).
ONLY N.H.S. AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT APPROVED METHODS of both computer disposal and data destruction are used by Free Computer disposals, depending on what equipment is being recycled we will either use a 4 pass random digit data wipe, another method we use is degaussing, this method uses a powerful magnetic pulse to remove the hard drives magnetic signature and along with it all of your private data and thirdly we can completely physically destroy the hard drive. Both degaussing and hard drive crushing can be carried out on site for total data security and peace of mind.
